Make the Most Out of Your Bath

It doesn’t get much better than a nice warm bubble bath!

When you are feeling stressed, tired, or in need of some ultimate pamper time, giving yourself the treat of taking a nice warm bubble bath is the best thing you can do for yourself. Doing so will help you feel calm, rejuvenated, and revitalized!

But taking a bath isn’t as simple as just filling up the tub with water. You want to make sure that you are making the most of your special bath time and really doing it right.

But not to fear, here are some tips from other bath lovers on how to make the most out of your bath time.

  1.       Take time to prepare the environment accordingly

The first step to ensuring that you get the most out of your bath time is by ensuring that the surrounding area is immaculate and sets the tone for the mood you are after. This means making sure there is no clutter in the bathroom, lighting scented candles with natural aromas, and dimming the lights.

  1.       Be conscious of your water’s temperature

You want to make sure that your temperature is set to the perfect level for you. Too cold and you won’t last long in it. Too warm and it will be uncomfortable and hard to get settled in. Take your time in drawing the bath and making the water temperature the right level so you can get a good soak in.

  1.       Treat yourself to bath essentials

When taking a bubble bath, it is the perfect excuse to indulge in some bath essentials like lavender body buffer. There are some beautiful products that are made just for this moment of producing a luxurious bath experience and are designed to help you relax, be cleansed and destressed, and really make the most out of your bath.

  1.       Add some music or a good audiobook

One way to really make the most out of your bath time is by putting on something soothing to listen to. Whether it’s some classical or jazz music, an entertaining audiobook, or a podcast, putting something on to indulge your brain with is a great way to allow yourself to sink right in and enjoy your bath time! Your body will be relaxed and your brain will be distracted, chances are you will probably never want to get out of the bath! And of course, a mandatory red wine is required to accompany this soothing experience as well.

  1.       Make sure you stay in long enough to reap the rewards

You want to make sure that you remain in the bath for at least twenty minutes to truly feel the benefits of your soak and make the most of your experience. But trust us, the hardest part will actually be getting out of the bath as once you’re in, you’ll never want to get out!

  1.       Don’t forget the post-bath step as well

Many people simply dry off and go on with their day (or straight to bed) after a good soak in the tub. But what you do after the bath is one of the most important steps. This means that you need to dry your skin in a kind way, feed your skin some lovely moisturizer, and get cuddled up into some comfy loungewear. And wherever you go next after your bath, make sure the same sort of calming experience continues, including calming music, lights, and aromas.

Bath time is such an important gift you can give yourself and should be regularly be scheduled into your routine. From indulging in bath essentials to creating a soothing environment, you really want to ensure you make the most of bath time!!
